Manager Cloud Center of Excellence van PostNL
Milou Verheij is Head of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) of PostNL. The Cloud Center of Excellence has a serverless-first strategy and supports the growing international (self)engineering community within PostNL to build cloud native solutions that are innovative and scalable. Milou is a result-driven people manager who loves to work together with teams and stakeholders to drive change within IT. Before she started her journey at PostNL in 2012, she was a teacher in International Relations at the University of Groningen. A year after her joining PostNL, PostNL initiated its full-cloud strategy and started to migrate everything to the Cloud. In 2020 Milou set-up a Cloud Center of Excellence to maximize cloud adoption within PostNL. As head of the CCoE she is responsible for the Cloud Strategy of PostNL and working closely together with Architecture, Security, and other IT departments to make the strategy succeed.

PostNL is Benelux’s number one service provider in parcels and mail, moving an average of 1.2 million packages and 8 million letters daily. An early adopter of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud since 2010, PostNL is shifting from a postal service to a logistics and service provider, where PostNL’s core smart logistics are developed through their own engineering capabilities.
