Andy Barker is an award-winning, transformational safety leader with over 20 years of international experience helping organizations turn safety into a strategic advantage. As founder of OrgTreeMe, he partners with companies to amplify what works, embed safety into everyday operations, and build adaptive capacity that strengthens performance, innovation, and connection.
Known for his practical, no-nonsense approach, Andy has delivered 50+ international keynotes and is widely respected for translating complex safety and culture theory into simple, actionable methods that create lasting change. During his time with Jacobs, he led safety and leadership strategies for $10B in multi-disciplinary engineering and construction projects in Morocco, establishing continuous improvement programs, leadership development pathways, and training departments with international accreditation.
He has also led major cultural integrations across Europe and Africa, including transforming a 40-year adversarial management–workforce dynamic into true collaboration within three months. Prior to founding OrgTreeMe, Andy served as Head of OHS&E for Europe at Ingersoll Rand, building a 15-person team across 48 sites and elevating the organization from subcontractor to principal contractor status.
