Filip Coumans

Filip is a senior safety and leadership specialist with over 20 years of experience helping global organizations achieve significant and sustainable safety improvements. He has led major culture and performance transformations across EMEA, with results including a 92% TRIR reduction in a manufacturing plant and multi-year safety leadership programs for sites of over 1,500 employees. Highly regarded for his practical insight and strategic guidance, Filip advises leaders from the shop floor to the boardroom and is a frequent speaker on safety culture, leadership, and employee engagement. He began his career managing complex international construction projects and has since worked across multiple industries worldwide. Filip holds a master’s degree in Civil Construction from KU Leuven and is fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
