With nearly 30 years of experience in the security sector, Godfried is a cybersecurity professional operating at the intersection of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). He has gained extensive experience in the maritime sector and industry, evolving into a technical Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with significant hands-on expertise in securing complex infrastructures. In his role at FERM in Rotterdam, he has developed in-depth knowledge of the new NIS2 directive and the forthcoming legislation based on it. This knowledge makes him a valuable source of expertise for organisations needing to adapt to increasingly stringent security standards and legal requirements. He will elaborate on this in his presentation.
