The conference featured a diverse programme, including three keynotes, ten break-out sessions, and five deep dive sessions, all focusing on the latest trends and best practices in the security sector.<\/p>\n

Opening and Networking Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The day commenced with an interactive session, “The Connection Kick-off,” led by Martijn Hoogesteger, known as the Digital Detective from the TV programme Hunted<\/em>. This session fostered a relaxed atmosphere, enabling participants to network and share their interests. Throughout the day, multiple breaks provided attendees with opportunities to engage with speakers and fellow professionals in the field.<\/p>\n

Keynotes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first keynote was delivered by Ad Krikke, CISO Executive Coach & Partner at Gartner Netherlands B.V. He emphasised the importance of a proactive and value-driven approach for CISOs, moving beyond mere compliance. Jeroen van Kesteren, Head of Digital Security Services at De Nederlandsche Bank, discussed transparency, trust, and operational resilience, sharing practical examples on preventing incidents and responding effectively when issues arise. Gayle Anders of Netflix concluded the day with a keynote on building organisational resilience through influential leadership.<\/p>\n

Break-Out Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The break-out sessions covered a wide array of topics. Laurent Strauss (OpenText) discussed protecting sensitive data in AI-driven environments, while Joost Koiter (Fuselogic) explored modern Identity Governance and Administration. Wim Heijs (Commvault) provided insights into building business continuity amidst ongoing cyberattacks. Bill Lapp (Zscaler) presented the latest innovations in zero-trust and AI to stay ahead of cyber threats.<\/p>\n

Deep Dive Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deep dive sessions delved into specific themes. Arnaud Wiehe (FedEx) led a session on the threats posed by quantum computing and the necessity of post-quantum cryptography. Renco Schoemaker (Gemeente Utrecht) discussed the practical implications of BIO 2.0, NIS2, and other regulations for organisations. Gayle Anders (Netflix) conducted an interactive session on responsible leadership during crises.<\/p>\n

Networking Opportunities and Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event concluded with a networking reception, allowing participants to share knowledge and establish connections. The combination of strategic insights, technical workshops, and networking opportunities made this event a valuable experience for all attendees. With over 85% positive evaluations, the Heliview Security Leadership Event has solidified its position as a cornerstone in the Dutch cybersecurity calendar.<\/p>\n
