Francesca Vanthielen

Francesca Vanthielen obtained a master's degree in TEW and International Politics at the KULeuven and followed a postgraduate course in Theater in London. She worked for national radio and television for many years. She is currently a news anchor at Kanaal Z. Before that she worked for Ballet Vlaanderen, Unia (the interfederal center for equal opportunities and against discrimination). Francesca Vanthielen is voluntarily committed to the Climate Case, which she started together with 10 other citizens to encourage the governments in our country to pursue a more ambitious climate policy. Her social commitment was already expressed in 2011 as co-initiator of the G1000.
