It not only gave me a clear overview of the current state of e-invoicing in Belgium, covering legislation, technical aspects, deadlines, penalties, and available solutions, but also provided surprisingly valuable insight into the different products on the market and how they can help improve efficiency.
It was a highly valuable experience to hear from industry experts and engage in informal conversations with both sector specialists and government bodies such as BOSA and the Belgian Federal Public Service Finance.
It was incredibly valuable to hear how other companies are approaching e-invoicing and where the industry is heading in the medium and long term. I found the session by the Belgian tax authorities and the presentation E-Invoicing Beyond 2026 particularly interesting.
I gained valuable insights into the future of e-invoicing. It is clear that significant progress has already been made and that 2026 is fast approaching. The conversations with the service providers were also particularly insightful.
