Jan Olsson
Kriminalkommissarie / police superintendent
Jan Olsson is a Police Superintendent with over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in internet-related crime. He helped establish the National Fraud Center (NBC) and now works at the National IT Crime Center (Noa) and the Swedish CyberCrime Center (SC3), focusing on complex cybercrimes and prevention.
Jan has been featured in thousands of media interviews, emphasizing cross-border cooperation and international Private-Public Partnerships in Europe. He also serves on boards like ECCFI and the MRC’s LE Commission.
As a seasoned lecturer, Jan speaks globally on cybercrime, fraud, and digitalization, advising on risk minimization for individuals and companies. He is involved in international collaborations with Europol, Interpol, and Enisa, representing Sweden in strategic and preventive projects. In 2022, he was honored as “Safety Profile of the Year.”
