John Bruijnen

Drs Ing John Bruijnen MSc is a Hydrogen Safety and Explosion Safety Assurance Engineer with 30+ year experience in the international energy industry with a track record on delivering projects with respect to HSE. Although his experience has been within an International Oil and Gas company he has established new methods to improve safety standards. For the last 7 years he studied on the topic of Hydrogen and Explosion safety in close cooperation with Dr Arief Dahoe and finished his degree in safety Engineering on the topic of Hydrogen Safety applied to the Royal Netherlands Navy. He is the owner of International Natural Energy Resource Consultancy (INERC BV) based in Amsterdam and in his current role he supports HSE implementation plans towards innovation projects within the Ministry of Defense. His current expertise has recently been broadened with explosion safety and hydrogen safety. The company is member of the International European Network of Excellence HySafe, and strategic partner for the international Center for Hydrogen Safety.
