Niklas Bunzel

Niklas Bunzel is a researcher at Fraunhofer SIT and TU Darmstadt, where he coordinates a team working on the security of AI systems, with a focus on adversarial robustness and trustworthy AI. Since 2023, he has been part of the core team of the OWASP AI Exchange, contributing as an author and editor to international AI security guidance and standardization efforts. He supports the coordination of the ATHENE project RoMa, contributes to national AI security initiatives, and shares his expertise through teaching and student supervision.
